Experience

Where I've been

Roles, places, and lessons that have shaped how I build.

  1. Software Engineer, GoodfrontendNov 2024 – Sept 2026

Delivered 4 release cycles over 2 years for a Fortune 500 client's production site in Next.js, React, and TypeScript — implementing Figma designs, Lottie animations, content, and features responsively across browsers and devices; consistent delivery helped retain the account. Resolved all axe-core issues and held WCAG 2.1 AA through keyboard and screen-reader testing, building accessibility into the code rather than relying on the client's paid accessibility widget. Replatformed an 8-year-old PHP/Laravel + MySQL course platform for a non-profit. Repaired broken legacy scripts, containerized with Docker, and shipped to Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage) within two weeks, with no prior PHP or GCP experience. Built its GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline on top: container builds, deploys to Cloud Run, images in GitHub Container Registry, keeping only an active image in Artifact Registry to reduce costs. Co-built several internal R&D projects: - a website auditing tool that pulls data from third-party APIs and uses an LLM to provide client-ready executive summaries with data visualizations - a headless e-commerce platform built on domain-driven architecture, microfrontends, a federated BFF, and Turborepo-managed packages to enable parallel work without code overlap

  2. Cadet Software Engineer, GoodfrontendMay 2024 – Oct 2024

Helped overhaul the company site (Next.js, Sanity CMS) — email-integrated contact form, social sharing widgets, OG metadata fixes — and extended its Storybook component library with Cypress tests. Selected 3 months into the 6-month bootcamp to join a 5-person multinational team shipping a live site for a Fortune 500 client. Retained as the main developer for the client's follow-on microsite after the core team rolled off.

  3. Software Developer & Technical Consultant2023 – Present

On the side, helped several local business owners create websites and assets to showcase products and services. Designed custom applications to lessen friction with daily operations.

  4. University of the Philippines - Cebu2023

Completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and graduated cum laude.

Projects

What I'm making

I'm always up to something. Here's what I have going on these days.

ROYGBV

a hypercasual online memory game

One of my earliest projects which I continue to iterate on whenever I get the chance to — inspired by the chimp test and my fondness for grid-based and block puzzle games.

grainyday

a personal film journal and recommendation app

I made this because I find myself searching “films like ____ reddit” a little too often. This web app lets you rate movies and yap about what you love (or hate) about them in journal entries, and learns more about your taste in the process.
